Greg L. Hutto – Founder of Hutto Retirement Advisors
Mr. Hutto was born into a family of educators. His father and mother are retired Texas public school teachers, and live in central Texas. Greg was a teacher and coach for nine years before entering financial services in 1996. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Business from Texas A&M University, and a Masters Degree in Education from Tarleton State University.
His career has come full circle, by working first in an independent planning firm in Tarrant County from 1996 to 2001. He joined UBS Paine Webber in 2001, and worked as a financial advisor for Raymond James for five years, starting in 2004. Greg founded Hutto Retirement Advisors LLC in January of 2010, with the conviction that independent advisors with access to big firm capabilities can offer their clients more of what they’re looking for - unbiased advice and service that is geared toward the client’s needs.
Having a solid background in education has aided Greg in working with clients to better understand their investments, and the value of a fully diversified portfolio. He believes in educating clients about the potential benefits of blending alternative investments with a traditional stock and bond portfolio, with the goal of enhancing returns and reducing risk. He holds two investment designations, including Certified Financial Planner ®, and was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2007. He also is the founder of Hutto Tax Advisors LLC, and is an Enrolled Agent. Visit this website at www.huttotax.com.
Greg and his wife Angie live in the Dallas / Fort Worth area, and have three children. They are active in their children’s home and school lives, and enjoy serving in various ministries at Fellowship of the Parks in Keller.
